-everything ready to glue onto your poster project – 45 minutes of class time will be provided for adding the finishing touches and then IT GETS HANDED IN, Thursday, May 31st

-GLOSSARY terms from page 152, 153, 156, 157 and questions page 154 that we did for homework and reviewed in class

-read the above pages, you will have a choice of answering a question about city-states OR growing up in Ancient Greece

POSTER PROJECT CRITERIA -all research due in point form next Tuesday ready to assemble into finished product

1. The TITLE of your poster is a question about Ancient Greece -3-5 subheadings will be developed into 1-2 paragraphs each

2.  3-5 pictures that are directly related to the interesting facts you are writing about on your poster

3. Bibliography

for Books: author, title in italics, publisher, yearpublished, place published

for websites: title of the webpage, year published if available, web address (www….), date you viewed site!

Complete for Tuesday, May 8th:

Complete the other side of your poster project.

This means you :  select your topic, write it on top line

                                    think of a question about the topic that your project will answer, write it in top box

                                    think of 3-5 parts that you will write about, write these as subheading in boxes

Next class:                                     I will review this Assignment

                                                            bring a book or two on the topic if you made it to the library

                                                            hopefully we can spend half an hour doing research using laptops

Please read pages 156 and 157 that we covered in class today.

I would like to thank all of the students who are making efforts to get their Assignments in on time.

There is not Assignment for next week but I look forward to hearing many interesting facts on Ancient Greece that were discovered in class today!

Please answer the four questions on pg 154 of the text book.

Prepare a best copy answer to hand in on next Tuesday’s class.

I recommend re-reading pg 152 and 153 as well as the information on the sides of the pages as it will help you come up with ideas for the answers.
