 1. White Star Line

• How did the ship get the name “R.M.S. Titanic”?
• What does “White Star Service” mean?

 2. Classes

• Backgrounds of firstclass (wealthy businessmen), second class (educated middle class) and third class passengers (emigrants travelling to the United States from Ireland and Scandinavia)
• Cost of tickets from first, second, and third class

 3. Hopes and dreams of passengers

• What did first class passengers want out of the trip?
• What did second class passengers want out of the trip?
• What did third class passengers want out of the trip?

 4. Engineering of the Titanic, including

• Double hull
• 16 watertight compartments
• Steel doors

 5. Planned route of the Titanic (include map) and location of sinking

 6. Livingstone Docks

• Whose identity did you take on? Tell about the background of this person. Did he/she survive the disaster?
• Describe the set up of the Livingstone Dock (seating arrangements for different classes, props, ship, etc.)
• Which stations did you rotate through? What did you do at each station? Reflect how each station was related to the Titanic. What was it like doing each of these activities?
